Complete Belize Travel Guide

If you’re familiar with me at all then you know just how much I love Belize!  It’s hands down one of my favorite places to visit.  While I didn’t get to make it there in 2020 the country is finally open again to tourists (with safety restrictions, of course).  If you’re looking to plan a trip for 2021 or are just looking for some travel inspo I’ve got you!  Check out my Complete Belize Travel Guide for all of my tips, reviews and recommendations.

Is Trip Insurance Worth It?

If you’re weighing the pros and cons of trip insurance this is worth a read.  Just note:  I would highly recommend getting a policy (that offers comprehensive medical coverage/COVID cancellation allowance) if you’re traveling anytime in the near future.

WHERE TO STAY

Blancaneaux Lodge

My biggest recommendation for traveling to Belize is to split your time between the jungle and the beach!  Blancaneaux Lodge is refined eco lodge luxe.  Nestled in the Mountain Pine Ridge Reserve this is, quite possibly, my favorite property to stay at in Belize.  Read my (glowing) review here.

Turtle Inn

Beach side Balinese inspired huts?  Yup!  This lovely spot is located in Placencia and the formerly sleepy fishing peninsula is now the prime location for Francis Ford Coppola’s beachside (and lagoon side!) retreat.  Read my review here.

Coral Caye

Looking to raise the bar for your Belize vacation?  Rent an island!  Seriously, a whole island.  Coral Caye is reserved for one party at a time and the entire island is castaway chic in the best possible way.  Read all about this private island rental here.

WHAT TO DO
